Family cemetery from Northern Dynasty discovered in Zhucang village of Luoyang city
2022年度河南省五大考古新发现④|洛阳孟津朱仓北朝墓
The family cemetery from the Northern Dynasty (439-581) discovered in Zhucang village in Mengjin district of Luoyang city, Central China's Henan province, has been on the list of the province's 5 key archaeological finds in 2022 unveiled at a conference on March 21.

In October 2022, Luoyang Municipal Institute of Archaeology discovered a family cemetery consisting of 3 tombs from the late Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534) to the Eastern Wei Dynasty (534-550) on the south bank of Xiaolangdi Reservoir in the northeast of Zhucang village, where an irrigation project was about to commence construction.
2022年10月，为配合孟津区平乐镇朱仓村东北部小浪底南岸灌区建设项目的建设，洛阳市考古研究院发现一处由三座墓葬组成的北魏末年至东魏时期家族墓地。

With a layout similar to the Chinese character "品", the 3 single-chamber tombs are respectively equipped with a passage outside and a paved path inside. Although all of them found traces of grave robbery, a large number of cultural relics are still unearthed, including pottery figurines, pottery pots, pottery bowls, pottery plates, bronze wares, iron scissors, iron rings, ox carts, tomb-guardian beasts, and others, notably 2 stone beds with stone folding screen and 1 sarcophagus.
三座墓葬整体呈“品”字形分布，均为长斜坡墓道单室土洞墓，由墓道、甬道和墓室组成，均发现有盗洞痕迹。出土随葬器物有陶俑、陶罐、陶碗、小陶盘和铜构件、铁剪、铁环、牛车、镇墓兽等。此次考古发现较为特别的是三座墓的葬具，包括两套围屏石棺床及一座石棺。

The tomb structures and burial objects reflect distinctive features of Xianbei ethnic group at that time as well as the powerful influence of the Han culture after Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty moved his capital to Luoyang city, providing important pictures and materials for the study on ethnic integration in the Northern Dynasty (439-581). The 2 unearthed stone beds with stone folding screen are first finds in Luoyang's history of archaeology.
此次发现的三座北朝墓的墓葬形制、随葬品及葬具特征反映了孝文帝迁洛以后汉文化的强烈影响以及鲜卑本民族的自身特征，为研究北朝时期的民族大融合提供了重要的图像和实物资料。出土的2套围屏石棺床，为洛阳地区考古首见。
