Inbound and outbound travels have significant growth in the first quarter after COVID-19 management shift at Zhengzhou airport

“乙类乙管”实施第一季度郑州航空口岸出入境流量大幅回升

Since the downgrading of COVID-19 management from Class A to Class B in China on January 8, the number of inbound and outbound travelers has grown sharply with the steady increase of international flights at Zhengzhou airport. As of March 31, Zhengzhou Immigration Inspection Station had inspected 46.5 thousand inbound and outbound travelers with a year-on-year increase of 157.15% respectively. On January 12, the number of inbound and outbound travelers reached 1382, exceeding one thousand in a single day for the first time since 2020.

自1月8日我国实施新冠病毒感染“乙类乙管”以来，郑州航空口岸积极有序恢复国际地区出入境航班，出入境流量大幅回升。截至3月31号，郑州出入境边防检查站共检查出入境人员4.65万人次，同比上升157.15%，其中1月12日出入境人数达1382人次，为2020年以来首次单日突破1000人次。

In the future, Zhengzhou Immigration Inspection Station will seek to continuously improve its working organization plans and refine relevant measures according to actual situations. They will take efficient and practical measures to cope with the continuous increase in inbound and outbound travelers, actively support and promote Sino-foreign personnel communication and exchanges, maintain the normal order of exit and entry, and ensure ports and borders are safe and stable. Specifically, they will strengthen the monitoring of the number of inbound and outbound travelers, open sufficient border inspection channels and exit-entry service windows, improve service guidance, and optimize relevant processes and procedures.

郑州出入境边防检查站相关负责人介绍，郑州边检站下一步将结合实际，持续完善勤务组织方案，开足出入境通道，做足做实应对出入境流量持续增长准备工作，积极保障促进中外人员交流交往，确保出入境秩序平稳有序，口岸边境安全稳定。（袁野）
