Henan's foreign trade value exceeds 200 billion yuan in Q1
一季度河南省外贸进出口超2000亿元
In the first quarter of 2023, Henan's import and export value expanded 2.5 percent year-on-year to 209.02 billion yuan, said a source from Zhengzhou Customs on April 20. Specifically, its exports increased 13.8 percent to 140.18 billion yuan, while imports reached 68.84 billion yuan, resulting in a trade surplus of 71.34 billion yuan with a surge of 68 percent. Generally, the figure in the past three months showed a growth trend, laying a foundation for the stability and quality of foreign trade throughout the year.
4月20日，记者从郑州海关获悉，一季度，河南外贸进出口总值2090.2亿元，比去年同期（下同）增长2.5%。其中，出口1401.8亿元，增长13.8%；进口688.4亿元；贸易顺差713.4亿元，扩大68%。总的来看，河南省第一季度外贸数据仍然保持在增长区间，为全年实现外贸保稳提质打下了基础。
It is worth noting that Henan's import and export value during the January-March period ranks 9th in China while 1st in Central China.
从全国排名来看，一季度，河南省外贸进出口总值居第9位；从中部六省看，稳居第1位。
New market kept expanding. The US, the ASEAN and the EU remained top 3 of Henan's trade partners over the past three months. The province's trade value with the RCEP member countries reported a growth of 12.8 percent to 64.28 billion yuan while with the countries along the Belt and Road 13 percent to 60.49 billion yuan, with their growth rate higher than the average.
新市场不断拓展。一季度，美国、东盟、欧盟为河南省前三大贸易伙伴。值得关注的是，河南省对RCEP成员国和“一带一路”沿线国家进出口增速均高于整体，其中对RCEP成员国进出口642.8亿元，增长12.8%；与“一带一路”沿线国家进出口604.9亿元，增长13%。
Opening-up platforms played greater roles. During the first three months, the import and export value of comprehensive bonded zones across Henan totaled 118.79 billion yuan, accounting for 56.8 percent of the provincial overall foreign trade value. It is worth noting that the foreign trade value of Zhengzhou Xinzheng Comprehensive Bonded Zone reached 110.58 billion yuan, topping other comprehensive bonded zones across China. Henan Bonded Logistics Center saw its import and export value jump 120 percent to 2.21 billion yuan.
