Henan's GDP up 5.0% in Q1
一季度河南省GDP同比增长5.0%
According to data released by the Henan Statistics Bureau on April 26 based on the unified regional calculation of gross domestic product (GDP), Henan's GDP reached 1,496.897 billion yuan in the first quarter of this year, an increase of 5.0 percent year-over-year at constant prices. In the first quarter, Henan's economic performance has gotten off to a strong start, with the growth rate of key economic indicators exceeding the national average, production demand increasing progressively, quality and resiliency continuing to improve, and the well-being of the populace significantly improving.
4月26日，河南省统计局公布了2023年一季度全省经济运行情况，根据地区生产总值统一核算结果，一季度全省地区生产总值（GDP）14968.97亿元，按不变价格计算，同比增长5.0%。河南全力以赴拼经济，全省主要经济指标增速高于全国，生产需求逐步改善，质量韧性持续提升，民生保障有力有效，经济运行实现良好开局。
Specifically, the added value of the primary, second and tertiary industries was up 3.0 percent to 64.874 billion yuan, 4.5 percent to 617.988 billion yuan, and 5.7 percent to 814.035 billion yuan year-on-year respectively.
分产业看，第一产业增加值648.74亿元，增长3.0%；第二产业增加值6179.88亿元，增长4.5%；第三产业增加值8140.35亿元，增长5.7%。
Industrial output has been expanding consistently, and new industries have been establishing themselves with vigor. In the first quarter, the added value of industrial enterprises in the province that exceeded the prescribed size increased 4.2 percent annually. Compared to the same period last year, the added value of 24 of the province's 40 main industrial categories increased 60 percent. The output of optical fiber, new-energy vehicles, and lithium-ion batteries increased 66.5 percent, 17.5 percent, and 12.1 percent respectively during the first quarter, causing the added value of high-tech manufacturing and strategic emerging industries to increase 11.4 percent and 8.5 percent respectively.
工业生产稳定增长，新产业发展势头良好。一季度，全省规模以上工业增加值同比增长4.2%。全省40个行业大类中有24个行业增加值同比实现增长，行业增长面60%。一季度，全省规模以上高技术制造业、战略性新兴产业增加值同比分别增长11.4%、8.5%；光纤、新能源汽车、锂离子电池等产品产量分别增长66.5%、17.5%、12.1%。（中文来源/河南日报 记者/李鹏 编译/赵汉青 何蒙贺 审校/李文竞）
