Henan embraces first headquarters of a foreign airlines
河南首家国外航司中国区总部落户航空港
Cambodia Angkor Air established a business service company and a representative office in Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone in Zhengzhou city of Central China's Henan province on May 25, marking the first headquarters of foreign airlines in Henan, and a solid step in advancing the “Zhengzhou-Phnom Penh” dual-hub strategy and the Henan-Cambodia-ASEAN “Air Silk Road”.
5月25日，柬国航（中国）商务服务有限公司、柬埔寨国家航空有限公司（以下简称“柬国航”）郑州代表处在郑州航空港经济综合实验区正式成立，这是河南首家落地的国外航司中国区总部，标志着“郑州-金边”双枢纽战略再迈坚实一步，也将助力河南-柬埔寨-东盟“空中丝路”焕发新彩。
"The Zhengzhou-Luxembourg 'Air Silk Road' provides freight services only and targets the European markets, while the Henan-Cambodia-ASEAN 'Air Silk Road' provides both freight and passenger services and targets the Asian markets," said a source from Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone when describing the significance of Cambodia Angkor Air's Chinese headquarters in Zhengzhou.
“如果说郑州-卢森堡‘空中丝绸之路’是‘货运版’‘欧洲版’，那么河南-柬埔寨-东盟‘空中丝绸之路’则是‘客货并举版’‘亚洲版’。”郑州航空港相关负责人这样形容柬国航中国区总部落户航空港区的重要意义。
In 2019, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone signed an MOU with Cambodia Angkor Air to support the latter in relocating its Chinese headquarters to Zhengzhou and open the air route between Zhengzhou and Phnom Penh. In December, 2021, Henan Airport Investment Group Co Ltd acquired a 28-percent stake in Cambodia Angkor Air and has become its second largest shareholder, a new milestone in the joint building of the "Air Silk Road". According to the news conference marking the 10th anniversary of the approval of the establishment of Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone on March 7, 2023, as an important part of the "Air Silk Road" pilot area, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone will accelerate the implementation of the "Zhengzhou-Phnom Penh" dual-hub strategy.
据了解，2019年，郑州航空港与柬国航签订战略合作备忘录，支持柬国航中国区总部迁至郑州，并开通“郑州-金边”航线。2021年12月，河南航空港投资集团有限公司收购柬国航28%股权，成为第二大股东，两地共建“空中丝路”揭开新篇章。2023年3月7日，在郑州航空港获批十周年新闻发布会上，该区明确表示，作为建设“空中丝绸之路先导区”的重要部分，将加快实施“郑州-金边”双枢纽战略。（中文来源/河南日报 编译/杨佳欣 审校/张军平）
