14th Games of Henan to kick off in Luoyang on Aug 18
河南省第十四届运动会8月18日将在洛阳开幕
The 14th Games of Henan Province and the 8th Games of Henan Province for the Disabled will kick off in Luoyang on August 18. Preliminary games have been gradually rolling out with athletes competing bravely on the field in spite of the intense summer heat, providing high-level competitions for sports fans.
8月18日，河南省第十四届运动会暨第八届残疾人运动会（下称：省十四运）将在洛阳开幕。目前，省十四运先期比赛已陆续开始，来自全省的运动健儿冒着高温酷暑奋力拼搏，展现出一场场高水平的较量。
The Games, hosted by the People's Government of Henan Province, is held every four years, which is the largest and the most influential multi-sport event in Henan with the largest number of participants. Since the Game's debut in 1959, 13 sessions have been held. This year, three groups are set up for the youth, students and communities respectively.
