Sounding a long whistle, a China-Europe freight train carrying more than 100 Chinese high-end new energy vehicles left Zhengzhou city of Central China's Henan province for Russia on the afternoon of August 23 via the Land Silk Road.
8月23日下午，郑州铁路口岸，一声鸣笛后，一趟中欧班列（中豫号）新能源汽车专列缓缓启程，载着100余辆国产高端新能源汽车经“陆上丝路”驶向俄罗斯。

In recent years, Henan's trade with BRICS countries has continued to heat up. In 2021, its trade with India, South Africa, Russia and Brazil increased 21.2 percent year-on-year, while in 2022, the figure stood at 55.45 billion yuan, up 20.3 percent. In the first seven months of 2023, the figure reached 32.09 billion yuan despite weakening external demand. Specifically, its trade with India increased 31.5 percent year-on-year, with Brazil 23.3 percent year-on-year, with Russia 20.9 percent year-on-year, and with South Africa 38.1 percent year-on-year, showing the great resilience and huge potentials of Henan's trade with BRICS countries.
近年来，河南与其他金砖国家的贸易合作持续升温。2021年，全省对印度、南非、俄罗斯、巴西四国进出口值同比增长21.2%；2022年，全省对上述四国的进出口值为554.5亿元，增幅达20.3%。今年前7个月，克服面对外部需求转弱等不利因素影响，全省对上述四国进出口值完成320.9亿元，其中，对印度进出口值同比增长31.5%、对巴西进出口值同比增长23.3%、对俄罗斯出口值同比增长20.9%、对南非进口值同比增长38.1%，体现出了双方贸易往来的潜力和韧劲。（中文来源/河南日报 记者/孙静 编译/杨佳欣 周金淼）
