The 24 Solar Term·Autumn Equinox

The Autumn Equinox (Chinese:秋分) is the 16th of the 24 solar terms in China. The Chinese character "fen" means "half", which represents the midpoint of autumn. This is the best time for harvest; the whole year's efforts are rewarded with a bumper crop.
