Henan's wheat sowing nearly completed

Henan's wheat sowing has basically reached an end, said local authority on November 12. By the afternoon of November 12, 99.3 percent of the planned winter wheat sowing area had been completed with 190 thousand mu per day on average. Besides, 79.98 million mu of wheat has sprouted.
记者12日从河南省农业农村厅获悉，河南麦播基本结束。截至当日下午，河南全省小麦已播种面积达8472万亩，占预计面积的99.3%，麦播日进度19万亩，小麦已出苗面积达到7998万亩。
Since late October this year, Runan county of Henan's Zhumadian city has dispatched 60 agricultural technicians divided into 10 technical groups to provide guidance for wheat sowing in its 18 townships (or sub-district offices). Moreover, 28 thousand copies of technical instructions have been handed out to guide farmers to select good-quality seeds before sowing.
据介绍，今年10月下旬以来，河南汝南县选派60名农业技术人员组成10个技术组，深入到全县18个乡镇（街道）指导做好小麦播种工作，印发技术明白纸2.8万份，指导农民科学选种，提高播种质量。
Wheat sowing is progressing in an orderly manner in Fugou county of Henan's Zhoukou city thanks to the favorable weather and suitable soil moisture content. Local agricultural departments also sent agricultural experts to the front line for profitable wheat production by providing guidance for wheat preparation, sowing and management, explaining technical information such as land tilling, seed selection and fertilization, and solving problems encountered in sowing process.
河南扶沟县抢抓晴好天气和适宜墒情的有利时机，有序开展小麦播种工作。当地农业农村部门组织农技专家深入田间地头，对小麦整地、播种、管理等环节进行跟踪指导服务，讲解耕地、选种、施肥等科学技术知识，解决播种过程中遇到的各种问题，确保小麦等作物应播尽播、种好管好。
So far, Zhengzhou, Zhumadian, Zhoukou, Pingdingshan and Nanyang have basically finished their wheat sowing, while Xinyang completes nearly 90 percent.
