12月14日，雪临济源。五龙口景区银装素裹，犹如美丽的冰雪世界。可爱猕猴在雪地里奔跑撒欢，宛如雪中精灵，更为这里增添了不少灵气。据悉，济源五龙口景区位于太行山南麓，是国家级太行猕猴自然保护区，目前大约有16群3800多只猕猴。太行猕猴是我国最大的猕猴群落，也是世界上纬度最北的猕猴群。当地有“猕猴王国”山门、“猴王宫”景观、“水帘洞”水系、“西游记”主题雕塑等景观，集猕猴驯养、繁育、科研于一体，极大地提升了游客的戏猴体验。
Many macaques living in mountainous areas of the Wulongkou Scenic Area in Jiyuan City, central China's Henan Province, have been seen enjoying the recent snowfall which has created some stunning scenery across the area. A group of macaques gathered on a snowfield for some play, with some picking off their partners' lice while another bunch of playful primates were seen climbing and jumping on trees. The Wulongkou Scenic Area, located in the southern part of the Taihang Mountains, is a National Nature Reserve for Taihang Mountains Macaques and has 16 groups of macaques with a population of over 3,800. The macaques from the Taihang Mountains are probably the largest community of macaques worldwide and the northernmost population of the species. The Scenic Area boasted many landscapes such as the "Monkey Kingdom" mountain gate, the "Monkey King Palace," the "Water Curtain Cave," and the "Journey to the West" themed sculptures, and is the right place for domestication, breeding, and scientific research of the primates.
