The U.S. economy rides the inflation roller coaster

American top economist and former chief adviser to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Mohamed El-Erian, stated that the struggle of the Federal Reserve against inflation has "hit a wall," making it difficult to further lower prices without causing harm. If the Federal Reserve quickly reduces the inflation rate to 2%, there is a risk of an economic "collapse."
