Beginning of Spring (Chinese: Li Chun 立春) is the first solar term of the 24 Chinese solar terms and falls on the fourth day of February this year.

It is the start of a new Chinese lunar year when all things in the world are rejuvenated with vitality.

After Li Chun, all plants will turn green and regain their vigor. People can sense that the daytime is becoming longer and the weather warmer.
