Traditional Chinese Sugar Painting in Puyang county, Central China's Henan Province, is an intangible cultural heritage where hot, molten sugar is poured on a stone or marble slab to create two-dimensional images. Zhang Quncheng, an artist from Puyang, pours a steady stream of molten sugar on the slate with a copper spoon. Once the sugar cools, he uses a small bamboo stick to fix the piece and remove it with a spatula. Then, a sweet dragon-shaped sugar can be enjoyed, either with your eyes or enjoy the sweet sugar taste.
