China saw 474 million domestic tourist trips during the eight-day Spring Festival holiday that ended on Saturday, up 34.3 percent year on year, according to data released by the country's Ministry of Culture and Tourism on Sunday.
Tourists spent nearly 632.7 billion yuan (about 89.07 billion U.S. dollars) on their domestic holiday trips, a 47.3 percent year-on-year increase, as shown by the data.
