An inspiring news for the New Year - A giant wheel full of 214 Yutong pure electric buses reached the other side of the earth - Chile. The buses will be put into use at the end of February to solve the long-distance commuting problem between Santiago, the capital of Chile, and its surrounding towns.

大河网讯 新年伊始，满载214辆宇通纯电动客车的巨轮，环绕半个地球抵达大洋彼岸——智利。据悉，这批车辆将于2月底陆续投入智利首都圣地亚哥公共交通领域，以解决主城区与周边城镇之间的长距离通勤难题。

Chile is the first South American country to establish diplomatic ties with China and a pioneer in the Belt and Road cooperation between China and Latin America. So what benefits will these buses bring to Chile?

智利是第一个同中国建交的南美国家，也是中拉共建“一带一路”的先行者。那么，这批客车将会给智利带来哪些利好？

 

According to a staff member from Yutong, "It was the largest single export order of Yutong in Chile and even the Latin American market. They will be put into use at the end of February to solve the long-distance commuting problem between the main city and the surrounding towns of Santiago."

据宇通相关负责人介绍：“该批订单刷新了宇通在智利乃至拉美市场单笔交付量最大的新能源客车订单记录，车辆将于2月底陆续投入圣地亚哥公共交通领域，以解决主城区与周边城镇之间的长距离通勤难题。”

 

"The 214 pure electric buses delivered to Chile are made using the YEA technology independently developed by Yutong, with world-leading performance in energy consumption control, endurance and reliability," said the staff member. To better meet customer requirements and maximize the vehicles' benefits, Yutong provided customized services based on local working conditions, industrial environment and operation habits, ensuring green travel with its leading technology and high-quality products.

Lately, 250 Yutong E12 pure electric buses were exported to Greece, known as the "cradle of Western civilization". This was Greece's first large-scale purchase of new energy buses, which are expected to begin operations in Athens and Thessaloniki by the end of April this year.

日前，250辆宇通E12纯电动公交漂洋过海，远赴素有“西方文明的摇篮”之称的希腊。这是希腊首次大批量采购新能源客车，预计将于今年4月底陆续在雅典和萨洛尼卡两城市开始运营，届时将为当地民众美好出行赋彩。

 

In recent years, for carbon emission targets and sustainable development, the Greek government has vigorously boosted green economy and promoted the construction of green public transport system, providing development space and market opportunities for China's new energy vehicles. The export of 250 Yutong E12 pure electric buses to the Greek market set a new record for Yutong for it marked the largest single export order in the European market.

近年来，为实现碳排放目标和促进可持续发展，希腊政府大力推动绿色经济发展，深入推进绿色公共交通体系建设，为中国新能源汽车提供了发展空间和市场机遇。本次250辆宇通E12纯电动公交挺进希腊市场，创造了宇通在欧洲市场最大批量的新能源客车订单新纪录。

"The E12 pure electric buses exported to Greece is a new kind tailor-made by Yutong for overseas high-end markets." According to the staff member, with the application of YEA technology and many other innovative cutting-edge technologies, these vehicles possess international leading advantages in quality, performance, adaptability, etc.

“出口希腊的E12纯电动公交，是宇通专为海外高端市场量身打造的新能源客车。”该项目相关负责人表示，车辆全面匹配YEA技术及诸多前沿科技的创新应用，使整车在高端品质、性能表现等方面均具备国际领先优势，能够有效拒绝“水土不服”。

 

The batch of new energy buses is expected to start operation in Athens and Thessaloniki at the end of April, which will improve the commuting experience for the locals and promote the green development of Greek.
