Professor Kang Xiangtao, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and doctoral supervisor at Henan Agricultural University (HAU), is a Central Plains Scholar and leads the innovative team for local chicken protection and utilization under the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. He is also recognized as a representative of protecting and utilizing local chicken resources in China.
As a new semester begins, teachers and students from HAU pay tribute to Academician Kang, hoping to inherit his scientific spirit and contribute their efforts to help the country achieve self-reliance in high-level science and technology and build a world leader in S&T.
