Luxembourg cultural relics arrive in Zhengzhou for exhibition via 'Air Silk Road'

“珍宝乘客” 搭乘“空中丝路” 抵达河南郑州航空港

At 2 am on March 18, 210 pieces (sets) of cultural relics from the National Museum for Archaeology, History and Art of Luxembourg arrived safely at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport after a 12-hour flight undertaken by CV9727 of Cargolux Airlines International via the Zhengzhou-Luxembourg "Air Silk Road", a new contribution made by Cargolux to the cultural exchanges between Henan and Luxembourg, after its transportation of 145 pieces (sets) of cultural relics from Henan to Luxembourg for exhibition in 2018.

3月18日凌晨2点，来自卢森堡国家考古、历史与艺术博物馆的210件（组）精品文物，搭乘卢森堡货航CV9727航班，在历经12个小时飞行后安全抵达郑州新郑国际机场。这是继2018年运送145件（组）河南文物赴卢森堡展出后，卢森堡货航再次经郑卢“空中丝路”护航“珍宝乘客”，对豫卢文化交流提供支持。

These 210 pieces (sets) of cultural relics are carefully selected for the "Luxembourg Cultural Relics Exhibition" at Henan Museum. Large in quantities, rich in categories, and flying across the Eurasian continent, these relics have special requirements for temperature, humidity, and logistics time during transportation. According to Muriel Prieur, director of the Restoration Department of the National Museum for Archaeology, History and Art of Luxembourg, Cargolux has rich experience in transporting special cargo such as artworks and oversized cargo and is capable of providing customized and specialized services. "I am glad to see these cultural relics are transported to Zhengzhou for exhibition by a Luxembourg airline," Muriel Prieur said, adding that the National Museum for Archaeology, History and Art of Luxembourg put a lot of effort into transporting their cultural relics to Henan for exhibition, and finally she was excited to see that their cultural relics had arrived safely.

卢森堡国家考古、历史与艺术博物馆修复部主任穆里尔·普里厄（Muriel Prieur）表示，卢森堡货航在运输艺术品、超常规尺寸等特殊货物方面经验丰富，而且能够提供定制化、专业化服务。“我非常高兴能看到这批文物由卢森堡的航空公司运至郑州展出。”她说。穆里尔·普里厄表示，为了将卢森堡精品文物送至河南交流展出，卢森堡国家考古、历史与艺术博物馆多次推进送展事宜，终于看到卢森堡文物运抵河南，她的心情十分激动。

The exhibition of "The Origins of Chinese Civilization-Archaeological Treasures from Henan" was held at the National Museum for Archaeology, History and Art of Luxembourg in 2018, and the 145 pieces (sets) of cultural relics unearthed in Henan were widely praised by Luxembourgers. The "Luxembourg Cultural Relics Exhibition" to be held in Henan Museum at the end of March will further promote the cultural exchanges between the two sides.
