This Sancai Glazed Figure of Camel Carrying Musicians unearthed from a Tang tomb in Shaanxi Province depicts a live band performance on the ancient Silk Road. Seven male musicians sit with their backs facing each other, holding sheng, xiao, pipa, konghou, flute, clapper, and panpipe to play music. A female singer stood in the circle they formed. She is undoubtedly the Center. The camel serves as their stage, allowing them to sing and perform wherever they go.
