Online platform unveiled for 2024 ancestor worship for Yellow Emperor

An online ancestor worship platform paying homage to Huangdi, also known as the Yellow Emperor, was officially launched on Tuesday.

The online platform's design is based on the cultural elements of Huangdi and the Chinese dragon. The platform integrates new technologies such as AI, VR, and AR to enhance visual and interactive experiences.

This "cloud worship" experience will transport Chinese individuals worldwide to the very heart of the ceremony, providing an immersive and lifelike experience.

The platform can be accessedby scanning the QR codebelow or through the H5 version(https://2024.huangdinet.cn/h5/#/). Users can also search for the "Yunbaizu" mini-program on WeChat, China's social media platform, to experience this new form of worship.

Huangdi was believed to have been born in Xinzheng City, which is governed by Zhengzhou, where Huangdi built the capital of the Huaxia Empire after he united all the tribes in China 5,000 years ago.

He is regarded as the common ancestor of all Chinese. The ancestor worship of Huangdi became a widespread ritual in the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
