'Henan, Where China Began' themed exhibition premiered at the 2024 Paris International Expo

The "Henan, Where China Began" themed exhibition premiered at the 2024 Paris International Expo on May 1st. Guided by the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, and hosted by the Information Office of Henan Provincial People's Government and the Information Office of Kaifeng Municipal People's Government, the exhibition centered on the theme "From Cultural Classics to a Better Life," presenting attendees a cultural feast.

5月1日，由中国外文局指导，河南省人民政府新闻办公室、开封市人民政府新闻办公室主办的“遇鉴中国”中华文化主题展之“行走河南·读懂中国”主题展亮相2024法国巴黎国际博览会。活动聚焦“从文化经典到美好生活”主题，为观众带来一场文化盛宴。

The exhibition hall exuded the culture essence of Henan in central China. From the vibrant pottery of the Yangshao culture to the Tang Dynasty's tri-colored pottery, and to the renowned Ru and Jun porcelain of the Song Dynasty, each artifact showcased the splendid ceramic culture of Henan. The exhibition hall was divided into two sections: "Cultural Classics" and "A Better Life," featuring over a hundred ceramic cultural and creative products crafted by artists honored with titles like "Chinese Arts and Crafts Master," "Chinese Ceramic Art Master," and "Chinese Arts and Crafts Industry Art Master," attracting the audience's attention.

当日，展馆内到处洋溢着河南文化气息。从仰韶文化时期的彩陶到唐文化的唐三彩，再到宋代五大名窑之汝瓷、钧瓷等，无一不彰显了河南辉煌灿烂的陶瓷文化。展馆分为“文化经典”和“美好生活”两个展区，展出河南数位被授予“中国工艺美术大师”“中国陶瓷艺术大师”“中国工美行业艺术大师”等称号的艺术家所创作的百余件陶瓷文创产品，吸引观众驻足观看。

The exhibition planner said that porcelain not only embodies Chinese exquisite craftsmanship but also carries profound cultural significance. In this new era, Henan's ceramic culture is undergoing fresh development. Art masters are innovating while preserving traditional ceramic craftsmanship, showcasing Henan's dynamic cultural development, rich in both substance and creativity.

展览策划人表示，瓷器不仅具有高端的品质，更富有深厚的文化底蕴。进入新时代，河南陶瓷文化迎来新发展，艺术大师在继承传统陶瓷工艺基础上探索创新，进一步展现了河南深挖内涵、创意出彩的文化发展活力。
