Kaifeng's Jan-April foreign trade growth ranks first in Henan
1至4月出口、进口增幅均居全省首位 开封外贸总额跃入全省第一方阵
In the first four months of 2024, the foreign trade value of Kaifeng city of Central China's Henan province expanded 118.7 percent year-on-year to 6.33 billion yuan, ranking sixth in Henan and for the first time topping the growth rate and becoming a front-runner of the province, said a source from Kaifeng Customs on May 24. Specifically, the export value stood at 4.47 billion yuan while import value 1.86 billion yuan, up 78.3 percent and 381.8 percent respectively.
5月24日，从开封海关传来消息：今年前4个月，开封市实现外贸进出口额63.3亿元，同比增长118.7%，增幅位列全省第一，总值跃居全省第六，首次进入全省第一方阵。其中，出口44.7亿元，同比增长78.3%；进口18.6亿元，同比增长381.8%，出口、进口增幅均居全省第一位。
So far, Kaifeng Customs has formulated an overall plan around the "7+28+N" industrial chain cluster, identifying eight key industrial chains, including new energy vehicles, modern home furnishings, advanced agricultural machinery and equipment, and new chemical materials. Besides, since January, Kaifeng Customs has conducted in-depth research at 11 local enterprises, accurately delivering domestic and international policies to them. All these efforts promoted rapid export growth of the key industries in Kaifeng.
今年以来，开封海关围绕“7+28+N”产业链群总体谋划，梳理出新能源汽车、现代家居、先进农机装备和化工新材料等重点产业链8个，深入11家企业开展调研帮扶，为企业精准推送国内外政策信息，促进了该市重点产业出口快速增长。
Over the past 4 months, Kaifeng’s export value of key commodities stood at the forefront of Henan. Among them, the export value of mechanical and electrical products, furniture (including spare parts) and garlic reached 3.174 billion yuan, 447 million yuan and 117 million yuan respectively, ranking second, third and second in Henan.
前4个月，开封市重点商品出口值位居全省前列。其中，机电产品出口31.74亿元，位列全省第二，增长169.74%；家具及其零件出口4.47亿元，位列全省第三；大蒜出口1.17亿元，位列全省第二。
During the January-April period, Kaifeng's trade partners have covered 133 countries and regions worldwide, with the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, India, and Kazakhstan as the main ones. Imports and exports to countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative amounted to 4.588 billion yuan, an increase of 153.52 percent, while to RCEP member countries 1.298 billion yuan, an increase of 47.29 percent.
前4个月，开封市贸易伙伴覆盖133个国家或地区，其中阿联酋、沙特阿拉伯、缅甸、印度、哈萨克斯坦为主要贸易伙伴；对共建“一带一路”国家进出口45.88亿元，增长153.52%；对RCEP成员国进出口12.98亿元，增长47.29%。
As of the end of April, the import and export value of cargo through Kaifeng Comprehensive Bonded Zone reached 2.065 billion yuan, accounting for 32.62 percent of the city's total, ranking third in Henan.
