　　Henan's First RCEP Overseas Cargo Station Landed in Kuala Lumpur

On June 8, Zhongyu Aviation Group and Malaysia Airports Holdings signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Commercial Support on the China-Malaysia Air Cargo Hub Project of the "Silk Road in the Sky" in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province in Central China, agreeing to collaborate on cargo route development and overseas cargo terminal construction. This signifies the "China-Malaysia Air Silk Road Aviation Cargo Hub Project" has taken a significant step forward, with the establishment of Henan’s first overseas cargo station radiating the RCEP region in Kuala Lumpur.

6月8日下午，中豫航空集团与马来西亚机场控股公司在郑州签署《空中丝绸之路中马航空货运枢纽项目商业支持谅解备忘录》，约定在货运航线开辟、海外货站建设等方面开展深度合作。这意味着“‘空中丝绸之路’中国—马来西亚航空货运枢纽项目”迈出关键一步，河南首个辐射RCEP区域的海外货站落地吉隆坡。

According to the MoU, both parties will leverage their strengths to open and expand international cargo routes between Zhengzhou and Malaysia, while also constructing "two stations", which means setting up overseas cargo stations in both Zhengzhou and Kuala Lumpur. This includes improving software, hardware, customs clearance, and other supporting services, creating efficient air logistics channels, and exploring the air cargo market between China and Malaysia.

根据《谅解备忘录》，中豫航空集团与马来西亚机场控股公司将充分发挥各自优势，开通、加密郑州至马来西亚的国际货运航线，同时建设“两站”，即在郑州和吉隆坡互设海外货站，逐步完善两地机场相应软件、硬件、通关等配套设施和服务，打造高效航空物流通道，共同开拓中马之间的航空货运市场。

An overseas cargo terminal is a facility at an international airport providing ground services like loading, warehousing, customs clearance, and transit for import and export goods. Upon completion of the cargo station, the terminal will integrate air, ground, and supply networks, offering customers secure, efficient, and cost-effective services.

海外货站是在境外机场建设的，为进出口货物提供装卸、仓储、通关、中转等地面操作服务的场站。货站建成后，集成“空中网+地面网+货源网”，能够为客户提供更加安全、高效、低成本的服务。

Malaysia is the second-largest trading partner of our country in ASEAN and the largest source of imports. The route network covers major markets in the world and the RCEP region. Establishing an overseas cargo station in Kuala Lumpur can effectively expand the radiation range of Zhengzhou Airport to the RCEP region and enhance the cargo handling and distribution capacity. The project includes launching a durian cargo line from Zhengzhou to Kuala Lumpur, followed by the introduction of seafood, flowers, and other specialty goods from Malaysia, Indonesia, and nearby regions, facilitating trade between Henan and the RCEP.

马来西亚是我国在东盟的第二大贸易伙伴和第一大进口来源国，航线网络覆盖世界主要市场和RCEP区域。在吉隆坡建立海外货站，能有效扩大郑州机场对RCEP区域辐射范围，提升货物集疏能力。随着该项目的推进，郑州机场将于近期开通至吉隆坡的榴莲货运专线，并以此为基础积极引入海鲜、鲜花等马来西亚、印尼及周边地区特色货物，服务河南与RCEP区域经贸往来。

In April 2021, Zhengzhou Airport unveiled its first overseas cargo station in Budapest, marking a milestone for Chinese airports. Following this, the Civil Aviation Administration of China issued guidelines on the construction and operation of overseas air cargo terminals in October 2022. Based on the experience of building the Budapest overseas cargo station, Zhengzhou Airport launched the Kuala Lumpur overseas cargo station project in February 2022, which was later included in the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation’s practical cooperation projects in October 2023.

据悉，2021年4月，郑州机场第一座海外货站——布达佩斯站正式揭牌，这是国内机场建立的首个境外航空货站。2022年10月，中国民航局在总结郑州机场海外货站试点经验的基础上，编制印发《海外航空货站建设运营指南》，海外货站建设向全国推广。基于布达佩斯海外货站建设经验，郑州机场于2022年2月启动马来西亚吉隆坡海外货站项目。2023年10月，该项目列入第三届“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛会议务实合作项目清单。此后，双方始终保持密切沟通，积极有序推进项目建设。

Zhongyu Aviation Group is expanding its global air logistics network. This year, Zhengzhou Airport has launched over 10 new cargo routes to cities like Frankfurt, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, and Mexico City, strengthening the "Air Silk Road" channel.

当前，中豫航空集团正持续拓展通达全球的航空物流网络。今年以来，郑州机场已新开、加密郑州至法兰克福、芝加哥、亚特兰大/达拉斯、墨西哥城等货运航线10余条， “空中丝绸之路”通道优势不断增强。

Zhang Mingchao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Zhongyu Aviation Group, said that the Group has always been accelerating the improvement of the Zhengzhou International Air Cargo Hub's capability level in accordance with the strategic deployments of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government. The China-Malaysia aviation hub project will surely boost strategic cooperation in civil aviation, transforming Henan's transportation advantages into economic benefits and supporting the Belt and Road Initiative's high-quality development.
