Opportunity China: Meet the World in Henan | Deputy of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg Impressed by Xinyang Maojian Tea

On June 19, the "Air Silk Road" Henan Cultural Tourism Week was held at the Cultural Center of China in Luxembourg.

卢森堡时间6月19日下午，“空中丝绸之路”河南文化旅游系列活动之一，“汉字”展在卢森堡中国文化中心举行。

At the event, the rich and ancient art of Chinese characters, which has been passed down for thousands of years, attracted many Luxembourg citizens who appreciate Chinese culture.

活动上，传承千年、绚丽多姿的汉字艺术吸引众多热爱中国文化的卢森堡巿民。

Among them, Lisa, who had studied Chinese in China for three years, was particularly fascinated by the charm of Chinese calligraphy and enthusiastically shared her proficiency in writing both the regular script and Yan style. She expressed her ongoing dedication to the art, mentioning her continuous study and practice of the "Caoquan Tablet Inscription."

曾在中国学习3年汉语的莉莎女士被中国书法魅力深深吸引，自豪地说自己会写隶书、颜体，现在还在不断临写研习“曹全碑”。

The small "fried dough twist," a traditional specialty from Henan, received high praise from the Luxembourg attendees. While tasting the snack, they marveled at the the fried dough twist's unique rope-like shape, symbolically linking Henan and Luxembourg.

河南特产“小麻花”更是令卢森堡友人赞不绝口，他们一边品尝，一边形象地说“麻花”形状像一根绳子，一头牵着河南，一头系着卢森堡。

Bartolemeo, Deputy of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg, who was present to inaugurate the cultural and tourism series activities from Henan, was utterly impressed by the aroma of Xinyang Maojian tea. Holding the character "Fu" (meaning fortune or blessing) excitedly, he gave a thumbs-up and said, "Taking a sip of Maojian tea, the fragrance fills my mouth and sweetness warms my heart. I truly feel blessed today!"
