Zhengzhou and additional ports added to China's expanded visa-free transit policy
国家移民管理局：即日起，在河南郑州航空口岸实施144小时过境免签政策
The National Immigration Administration has announced significant updates to its visa policies. Effective immediately, a 144-hour visa-free transit policy is now available at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, allowing travelers to stay within the administrative region of Central China's Henan province for up to 144 hours without a visa. Additionally, the scope of the 144-hour visa-free transit policy has expanded in Southwest China's Yunnan province. Alongside Kunming, 9 cities (prefectures) are now included: Lijiang, Yuxi, Pu'er, Chuxiong Yi autonomous prefecture, Dali Bai autonomous prefecture, Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture, Honghe Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture, and Wenshan Zhuang and Miao autonomous prefecture. Furthermore, the 144-hour visa-free transit policy is also applicable at Xinzheng International Airport in Zhengzhou, Sanyi International Airport in Lijiang and Mohan Railway Port in Xishuangbanna.
国家移民管理局今天发布公告，即日起，在河南郑州航空口岸实施144小时过境免签政策，停留范围为河南省行政区域；将云南省144小时过境免签政策停留范围由昆明市扩大至昆明、丽江、玉溪、普洱、楚雄、大理、西双版纳、红河、文山等9个市（州）行政区域。新增郑州新郑国际机场、丽江三义国际机场和磨憨铁路口岸等3个口岸为144小时过境免签政策适用口岸。
As of now, the National Immigration Administration has expanded its 144-hour visa-free transit policy to a total of 37 ports across the country, including Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Qinhuangdao, Shenyang, Dalian, Shanghai, Nanjing, Lianyungang, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Zhoushan, Zhengzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Jieyang, Qingdao, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an, Xiamen, Wuhan, Kunming, Lijiang, Xishuangbanna, etc.
据了解，截至目前，国家移民管理局已在北京，天津，河北石家庄、秦皇岛，辽宁沈阳、大连，上海，江苏南京、连云港，浙江杭州、宁波、温州、舟山，河南郑州，广东广州、深圳、揭阳，山东青岛，重庆，四川成都，陕西西安，福建厦门，湖北武汉，云南昆明、丽江、西双版纳等地的37个口岸实施144小时过境免签政策。
Citizens from 54 countries, including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, holding valid international travel documents and onward tickets with confirmed dates and seats within the next 144 hours, can transit through the aforementioned ports en route to a third country or region without obtaining a visa. They can stay within the designated areas for a maximum of 144 hours. During their stay, citizens of the 54 countries can engage in short-term activities such as tourism, business, visiting, and family reunions (Those who eligible under mutual visa exemption agreements China has signed with their counterparts or covered by China's unilateral visa exemption should follow the specific provisions outlined in these agreements or policies.)
