On July 28, loaded with 50 containers of automotive parts, tires, electronics, etc., a China Railway Express train departed from CR Intermodal Zhengzhou Terminal, heading towards Milan, Italy.
7月28日,中铁联集郑州中心站,一趟中欧班列(郑州)满载50个集装箱的汽车配件、轮胎、电器等货物缓缓驶出,开往意大利米兰。
"Each container saved approximately 600 yuan in loading and unloading costs thanks to the customs' 'inspection before loading' supervision mode," said the customs affairs manager of Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co., Ltd.
“这批货物采用了海关‘先查验后装运’的监管模式,每个集装箱节省600元左右的掏装箱费用。”郑州国际陆港开发建设有限公司关务负责人说。
"Previously, exporting containerized or LCL (less than container load) cargo subject to controlled inspections required unpacking the containers to search for goods and then repacking them." A staff member from Zhengzhou Customs at Zhengzhou Station explained that now companies can transport loose cargo into the customs zone, undergo customs supervision, and then pack the goods for export. The "inspection before loading" mode has increased customs clearance efficiency by 30 percent, reducing export costs for businesses by over 20 percent.
“之前出口集装箱拼箱货物整箱入区,如遇布控查验,需掏箱找货、重新回填。”郑州海关所属郑州车站海关相关负责人介绍,如今企业可以运输散件货物入区,经海关监管后再装箱出口。“先查验后装运”模式使得通关效率提升30%,为企业压缩出口成本20%以上。
Trains of China Railway Express roar through, traversing the Eurasian continent, forging a "Land Silk Road" that enhances Henan's openness to the world. According to statistics, in the first half of this year, Henan operated 975 China-Europe (Asia) freight trains, marking a year-on-year increase of 58.3 percent, transporting 105,722 standard containers. Among them, Zhengzhou operated 898 China-Europe (Asia) freight trains, with a year-on-year increase of 65 percent.
一辆辆中欧班列呼啸疾驰,畅行于欧亚大陆,架起河南扩大对外开放的“陆上丝绸之路”。据统计,今年上半年,河南中欧(亚)班列开行975列(自然列)、同比增长58.3%,发送货物105722标箱;其中郑州中欧(亚)班列开行898列(自然列)、同比增长65%。
Since the successful launch of the first direct international freight train from Central China to Europe in July 2013, the China-Europe freight train service (Zhengzhou) has been running continuously for over 11 years. Over these 11 years, from a "once-a-month" service at its inception to a regularly-scheduled high-frequency service today, the China-Europe freight train service (Zhengzhou), with higher speeds, now handles tens of thousands of types of goods, maintaining a leading position in comprehensive operational capability nationwide. Its "circle of friends" continues to expand. With the recent launch of the route crossing the Caspian and Black Seas, the China-Europe freight train service (Zhengzhou) has established an international multimodal transport and distribution network encompassing 27 direct overseas destinations and 9 entry-exit ports. This network facilitates smooth logistics between Henan and Europe, Central Asia, the ASEAN, Japan, and South Korea, covering over 140 cities in more than 40 countries, and collaborating with over 6,000 domestic and international partners.
