"Every summer, we recommend Zhongmu's watermelon jam to customers. It's delicious and fragrant, perfect for steamed buns or mixed with noodles!" On August 5, in the e-commerce live broadcast room of Henan Agricultural Product Purchase Platform (https://www.henannonggou.com) in Zhongmu county of Zhengzhou city, Central China's Henan province, an anchor named "Amy" was enthusiastically promoting the locally produced watermelon jam. Within just 4 hours of live streaming, she garnered over 1000 orders, with sales totaling nearly 40,000 yuan.
“一到夏天，就必须给大家推荐咱中牟的西瓜酱，味美鲜香，夹馍拌面都好吃！”8月5日，在位于中牟县的河南农购网电商直播间内，主播“艾米”正热情推销当地产的西瓜酱，4个小时的直播就收获超1000单订单，销售额近4万元。
This is a microcosm of how live-streaming e-commerce in Henan is empowering industrial development and helping farmers increase their income and become prosperous. In the first half of this year, according to third-party platform monitoring, rural online retail sales in Henan reached 88.113 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.24 percent, said a source from the Department of Commerce of Henan. Among them, online retail sales of agricultural products amounted to 46.006 billion yuan, showing a year-on-year increase of 13.02 percent.
这是河南省直播电商赋能产业发展、助力农民增收致富的一个缩影。记者从河南省商务厅获悉，今年上半年，据第三方平台监测，河南省农村网络零售额881.13亿元，同比增长12.24%；其中，农产品网络零售额460.06亿元，同比增长13.02%。
The high-quality development of rural e-commerce is inseparable from the increasingly refined rural logistics network. Up to now, all administrative villages in Henan have realized a 100 percent coverage rate for express delivery services. In Xunxian county, relying on the three-tier rural logistics service system, the time it takes for villagers to send and receive parcels has been significantly reduced, with 438 administrative villages in the county now able to access same-day delivery services. Moreover, the dispatching cost has been reduced by 10 percent and the shipping cost has been reduced by more than 20 percent. In Fugou county, 16 town express logistics stations and 410 village-level convenience service points have been fully upgraded and reformed, reaching a coverage rate of 100 percent.
