With the arrival of summer vacation and the implementation of the expanded 144-hour visa-free transit policy, Zhengzhou's cultural and tourism market has seen another boom of tourists.

随着暑假的到来，以及144小时过境免签政策的实施，郑州的文旅市场迎来了又一次热潮。

According to statistics, in July, Zhengzhou received over ten million domestic tourists, generating tourism revenue of 14.97 billion yuan. Compared to the same period last year, tourist arrivals increased by 1.9 percent and tourism revenue grew by 4.5 percent.

据统计，7月份郑州市共接待国内游客人次过千万，旅游收入149.7亿元，与去年同期相比，接待人次增长1.9%，旅游收入增长4.5%。

"Foreigners" stand out notably in the bustling major scenic spots. Starting from July 15, Zhengzhou began implementing a 144-hour visa-free transit policy, allowing tourists to stay up to 144 hours without a visa throughout the entire province of Henan. Zhengzhou seizes the opportunity by encouraging key cultural and tourism attractions to introduce preferential policies, particularly highlighting such inbound tourism IPs as "Songshan Shaolin," "The magnificent Yellow River," "Hometown of the Yellow Emperor," "Strolling in the Ancient Shang Dynasty Capital," and "Unique Henan·Land of Dramas," thus attracting a constant stream of visitors.

在人流如织的各大景区，“老外们”的身影格外显眼。7月15日，郑州开始实行144小时过境免签政策，游客停留范围为整个河南省。郑州抢抓机遇，鼓励重点文旅景区推出优惠政策，重点推出“嵩山少林”“天下黄河”“黄帝故里”“漫步商都”“戏剧幻城”等入境游IP，吸引更多的境外游客到河南郑州观光旅游，开创入境游工作新局面。

According to Wang Junling, deputy general manager of Henan Songshan Shaolin Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd., "Despite a temporary closure for a few days due to high temperatures, the enthusiasm of the tourists remained undiminished. In July, Shaolin Temple hosted the 2024 Global Shaolin Kung Fu Exam Finals, where over 100 competitors from around the world gathered at Songshan to compete for the title of Kung Fu Champion. The number of international visitors has noticeably increased, especially the study tour groups. The night climbing project at Songshan Mountains reaches its capacity limit almost every weekend, especially on Saturdays. There are usually two to three thousand visitors even on weekdays, already exceeding the usual summer peak."

144过境免签，让这个暑期旺上加旺。河南嵩山少林文化旅游有限公司副总经理王俊玲告诉记者，“虽然因为高温天气，中间闭园了几天，但游客们热情不减。7月份，少林寺举办了‘2024全球少林考功总决赛’，100多位来自世界各地的选手齐聚嵩山，争夺‘功夫之王’的桂冠。景区外宾数量明显上涨，尤其是研学团队比较多。夜爬嵩山项目每周六周末客流量基本上都达到限流标准，平时每天也都两三千人，这个人流量已经非常可观了。”
