Yinxu Museum Welcomes 1 Millionth Visitor in Henan, China

The Yinxu Museum in Anyang, Henan province, celebrated a major milestone on August 25, 2024, by welcoming its 1 millionth visitor since opening on February 26, 2024.

The museum, located at China's Anyang city, the birthplace of oracle bone script, has quickly become a popular destination. The 1 millionth visitor was recorded at 10:35 AM on August 25. To mark the occasion, the museum hosted a special event, "Waiting for the One Millionth Visitor," with real-time visitor counts displayed. The 999,999th, 1,000,000th, and 1,000,001st visitors were all recognized with prizes, including cultural gift packs and, for the 1 millionth visitor, a lifetime free pass to the museum. 根据博物馆最新统计数据显示，截至8月25日10时35分，迎来第100万个游客。
