In the first eight months of 2024, Henan's foreign trade value reached 460.93 billion yuan, said a source from Zhengzhou Customs on September 15. In August alone, the figure was 66.07 billion yuan, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 21.5 percent and a double-digit growth for two consecutive months, with a growth rate reaching a monthly high for the year. Specifically, the August's exports totaled 37.59 billion yuan, up 18 percent year-on-year, while imports were 28.48 billion yuan, an increase of 26.5 percent.
9月15日，记者从郑州海关获悉，今年前8个月，河南省外贸进出口总值4609.3亿元。其中，8月份，我省外贸进出口值660.7亿元，同比增长21.5%，已连续两个月保持两位数增长，进出口增速创今年以来月度新高；出口375.9亿元、同比增长18%，进口284.8亿元、同比增长26.5%。
From the perspective of foreign trade platforms, the pilot free trade zones (areas) saw a sharp increase, soaring by over 90 percent. In the first eight months, the trade value of the pilot free trade zones (areas) was 53.89 billion yuan, a year-on-year upsurge of 90.9 percent, accounting for 11.7 percent of the province's total foreign trade value. Specifically, the exports amounted to 35.08 billion yuan, up 112.1 percent, and imports 18.81 billion yuan, an increase of 61 percent.
从外贸平台来看，自贸试验区进出口大幅增长超九成。今年前8个月，我省自贸试验区进出口538.9亿元，同比增长90.9%，占全省外贸总值的11.7%。其中，出口350.8亿元，同比增长112.1%；进口188.1亿元，同比增长61%。从各片区看，郑州片区进出口365.6亿元，同比增长60.6%；开封片区进出口106.4亿元，同比增长272.9%；洛阳片区进出口66.9亿元，同比增长157.3%。
Currently, Henan's foreign trade is diversifying, with steady growth with the ASEAN, the EU, Latin America, and Africa. Specifically, in the first eight months, the province's trade with the ASEAN reached 68.47 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.9 percent; with the EU was 57.29 billion yuan, up 4.5 percent; trade with Latin America amounted to 55.31 billion yuan, an increase of 10 percent; and trade with Africa reached 19.07 billion yuan, up 21.9 percent.
