Henan welcomes 79.9 million tourists, generates 56.59 billion yuan in revenue during National Day holiday

7991.6万人次、565.9亿元 举国庆华诞 宾朋游中原

On October 7,  the reporter learned from Department of Culture and Tourism of Henan Province that during the National Day holiday, the province enhanced its tourism offerings and ramped up marketing efforts. This resulted in a vibrant and well-organized cultural and tourism market, with strong growth momentum.

10月7日，记者从省文化和旅游厅获悉，国庆假期，全省丰富产品供给，加大营销力度，文旅市场繁荣有序，文旅经济势头强劲。

During the 7-day holiday, Henan received 79.916 million tourists, generating a total tourism revenue of 56.59 billion yuan (about 8,009 million U.S. dollars). Compared to the same period in 2023, tourist numbers increased by 5.1%, and tourism revenue saw a 15.5% rise. Across the province, 10,300 cultural activities were held, attracting 8.239 million participants both online and offline (including 910,000 online views on the "Wenhua Yuyue" App).

7天假期，全省接待游客7991.6万人次，旅游收入565.9亿元；与2023年同期相比，接待人次增长5.1%，旅游收入增长15.5%。全省开展各类文化活动1.03万场，线上线下观看和参与823.9万人次（文化豫约线上浏览量91万人次）。

The top five tourist destinations in terms of visitor numbers were: Wansuishan Scenic Spot in Kaifeng, which welcomed 596,700 visitors; Millennium City Park in Kaifeng with 553,300 visitors; Enjoyland International Tourism Resort in Zhengzhou with 500,500 visitors; Yuntai Mountain in Jiaozuo with 450,600 visitors; and Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang with 428,100 visitors.
