The Zhengzhou Grand Prix of the UIM F1H2O World Championship Takes Place
On October 19th, the closing and award ceremonies for the fifth round of this year’s UIM F1H2O World Championship took place at Longhu Lake in Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou, China. An Wei, a member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the CPC Zhengzhou Municipal Committee, officially declared the competition closed and presented the championship trophy to the winning team. Dai Baihua, Vice-chairman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, also attended the event.
10月19日，2024年世界F1H2O摩托艇锦标赛中国郑州大奖赛闭幕式暨颁奖仪式在郑州市郑东新区龙湖举行。省委常委、郑州市委书记安伟宣布大赛闭幕并为赛队冠军颁奖，省政协副主席戴柏华出席。
Lavinia Cavallero, the promoter of UIM F1H2O World Championship, highlighted Zhengzhou’s status as a renowned historical and cultural city, as well as a vital transportation hub and commercial logistics center. She noted that the city is gradually showcasing its unique international charm, serving as an important bridge between China and the world. Returning to the vibrant city this year, she was impressed by Zhengzhou’s achievements in economic development, cultural heritage, and innovation. Cavallero believes that the prestigious championship will serve as a window for nations worldwide to gain insights into Zhengzhou, delve into Henan, and learn about Chinese culture.

A total of 9 top-tier teams and 18 elite drivers from 12 countries and regions participated in the round of championship. The event was broadcast globally via satellite to 164 countries and regions, attracting an audience of around one billion viewers.
