Henan's film market kicks off 2025 with a strong start in Spring Festival sales. During the eight-day Spring Festival holiday, the province's box office revenue reached 587 million yuan, a 15.47% increase from the same period in 2024, according to the local authority on February 5, accounting for 6.15% of the national total, ranking fifth nationwide.

2025年河南省电影市场迎来“开门红”。2月5日，记者获悉，2025年春节档河南省电影总票房达5.87亿元，较2024年同期增长15.47%，占全国总票房的6.15%，居全国第五位。

During this year's Spring Festival holiday, the number of moviegoers in Henan reached 11.32 million, an 11.82% increase compared to the same period last year. Both box office revenue and the number of moviegoers set new historical records.

今年春节假期河南省观影人次达1132.18万，较去年同期增长11.82%，电影票房、观影人次均刷新历史纪录。

Zhengzhou led the province with a box office of 115 million yuan, followed by Luoyang, Nanyang, Zhoukou, and Xinyang, which ranked second to fifth.
