Henan's technology transactions see a strong start in Q1

On April 2, the Department of Science and Technology of Henan Province announced that as of March 31, a total of 6,659 technology contracts had been registered across the province, with a transaction value of 69.06 billion yuan. This represents a year-on-year increase of 161.7%, surpassing the first-quarter target and marking a robust start for Henan's 2025 technology contract transactions.

4月2日，记者从河南省科技厅获悉，今年以来（截至3月31日），全省共登记技术合同6659项，技术合同成交额达690.6亿元，同比增长161.7%，超额完成2025年第一季度技术合同交易“开门红”的目标任务。

A spokesperson from the department stated that in the first quarter, technology contract transactions showed remarkable growth in both volume and quality, with increased vitality and strong synergy between internal and external drivers.

河南省科技厅有关负责人表示，首季度技术合同交易呈现量质齐升、活力涌现、内外联动的鲜明特征。

First, the quality and effectiveness of technology transactions have seen significant improvement. In the first quarter, the transaction values for technology transfer and technology licensing contracts surged by 222.6% and 171.4%, respectively. Contracts involving intellectual property reached 20.7 billion yuan, a 146.2% year-on-year increase. The clearer ownership of intellectual property in these transactions marks a major leap forward in both the quality and real-world application of technology transaction outcomes across the province compared to the same period last year.

——技术交易质效显著提升。第一季度成交的各类技术合同中，技术转让、技术许可类交易额分别跃升222.6%和171.4%；涉及知识产权的交易合同达207亿元，同比增长146.2%，技术交易的知识产权权属更加明晰，标志着全省技术交易成果质量和落地转化实效较同期实现新跨越。

Second, the vitality of innovation entities is being actively unleashed. Enterprises played a leading role in innovation, with a total technology contract transaction value of 67.56 billion yuan in the first quarter, accounting for 97.8% of the provincial total, marking a year-on-year increase of 181%, reflecting strong market-driven momentum. Meanwhile, universities and research institutes showcased their crucial role as sources of innovation, with the transaction value of technology transfer contracts growing by 433.4% year-on-year and technology development contracts increasing by 84.1%, injecting new vitality into the deep integration of industry, academia, and research.

——创新主体活力竞相释放。企业创新主体地位突出，第一季度实现技术合同成交额675.6亿元，占全省总额的97.8%，同比增幅181%，展现出较强的市场内驱力；高校、科研院所创新源头作用彰显，其技术转让合同成交额同比增长433.4%，技术开发合同增幅84.1%，为产学研深度融合注入新活力。

Third, the innovation momentum in high-tech industries is strong. The scale of technology transactions in high-tech sectors surpassed 32.86 billion yuan, accounting for 47.6% of the provincial total. Among these, the advanced manufacturing sector maintained the largest share, with 22.1%. Transactions in aerospace, new materials, and new energy sectors saw year-on-year growth of 865.8%, 147.7%, and 82.8%, respectively, further highlighting the driving role of high-tech industries in leading the growth of technology transactions.

——高新技术创新动能强劲。高新技术领域技术交易规模突破328.6亿元，占全省总额的47.6%，其中，先进制造领域技术交易稳居首位，占比22.1%，航空航天、新材料、新能源领域技术交易同比分别增长865.8%、147.7%、82.8%，高新技术产业引领技术交易增长的带动作用更加凸显。

Fourth, regional technology transaction linkages have become increasingly close. In the first quarter, Henan exported technology contracts worth 6.66 billion yuan to other provinces along the Yellow River, a year-on-year increase of 178.9%, with Shandong accounting for 48.9%. The province also absorbed technology contracts worth 8.16 billion yuan from outside Henan, with Shaanxi, Beijing, and Zhejiang being the main sources of technology input. Henan's technology transactions with regions such as the Yellow River basin, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and the Yangtze River Delta have become more active, further advancing regional collaborative innovation.

——区域技术交易联动密切。第一季度我省向沿黄其他省份输出技术合同成交额66.6亿元，同比增长178.9%，其中，山东省占比48.9%；吸纳省外技术合同成交额81.6亿元，陕西、北京、浙江成为省外技术输入核心来源地，我省与沿黄流域、京津冀、长三角技术交易活跃度增强，区域协同创新向纵深拓展。（中文来源/河南日报 记者/尹江勇 编译/杨佳欣 审校/赵汉青 李文竞）
