Zhengzhou launches first China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan rail-road shipment

郑州首票“中吉乌”铁公联运货物发车

On May 14, the inaugural shipment on the newly launched China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan multimodal transport route from departed the CR Intermodal Zhengzhou Terminal. The service was organized by Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Company of Zhongyu Port Group. The cargo will travel by rail to Kashgar in Xinjiang, where it will be transferred to trucks and continue its journey by road, and finally reach its final destination - Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The successful launch of this cross-border multimodal route marks a major expansion of the China Railway Express (Zhengzhou) network, adding a new artery to China's growing international logistics landscape.

5月14日，中豫港务集团郑州陆港公司组织的首票“中吉乌”铁公联运货物，从郑州铁路集装箱中心站顺利发车。该趟班列将经新疆喀什换装公路，从伊尔克什坦口岸出境，最终抵达乌兹别克斯坦塔什干。此次跨境多式联运新线路的成功开通，标志着中欧班列（郑州）国际物流网络再添新通道。

The service adopts a "rail-to-road" multimodal transport model, combining the long-distance, high-capacity advantages of rail with the flexibility and door-to-door capabilities of road freight. It effectively addresses the limited railway coverage across parts of Central Asia. By optimizing the transport mix, the model offers a more cost-effective logistics solution, with shipping costs around 30% lower than traditional road-only transport.

该班列采用“铁路+公路”联运模式，充分发挥铁路运输长距离、大批量优势和公路运输灵活、门到门的特点，有效解决中亚地区铁路网络覆盖不足的痛点。该联运模式通过优化运输组合，为客户提供更具性价比的物流解决方案，相较传统公路运输，运费成本可降低30%左右。

In recent years, Henan has significantly expanded its China Railway Express routes, border ports, and terminals both at home and abroad, establishing a logistics network that now covers 25 direct overseas destinations and 8 border crossings. The network now spans over 140 cities across more than 40 countries and engages over 8,000 partner enterprises, forming a competitive "threefold advantage" of diversified gateways, extensive reach, and robust performance. To date, Henan has launched a total of 15,700 China freight train services, placing it among the top performers nationwide in both service volume and operational capacity. In the first four months of this year, 831 trains were operated, up 54% year-on-year.

近年来，河南大力拓展中欧班列线路、口岸和境内外站点，构建起“25个境外直达站点+8个出入境口岸”的物流网络布局，辐射40多个国家140多个城市，合作伙伴超8000家，实现“口岸通道多、辐射区域多、运营成果多”的“三多”优势。截至目前，全省中欧班列累计开行1.57万列，开行总量和综合运营能力处于全国第一方阵。今年前4个月，河南中欧班列开行831列，同比增长54%。（中文来源/河南日报 记者/郭北晨 编译/杨佳欣 审校/李文竞 赵汉青）
