After the rain, the sky breaks open in azure - such a color is worth creating. A touch of sky blue, traveling across a millennium from Ruzhou, quietly illuminates Zhengzhou's nightscape. On the evening of July 3, the 2025 Pingdingshan Culture and Tourism Promotion Event was held at the Henan Art Center in Zhengzhou city, Central China's Henan province. At the same time, the Pingdingshan Ru Porcelain Exhibition also opened, attracting a continuous stream of visitors who encountered the timeless charm of Ru porcelain amid its elegant sky-blue hues.
大河网讯 雨过天青云破处，这般颜色做将来。一抹天青色，穿越千年，从汝州走来，悄然点亮郑州的夜。7月3日晚，2025年平顶山文旅（郑州）推介会在河南艺术中心举行，平顶山“汝瓷集”也同步在此开集。活动现场灯火璀璨，市民络绎不绝，在淡雅天青中邂逅千年瓷韵。
"Ru kilns topped China's Five Great Kilns of the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), producing porcelain exclusively for imperial use. And the sky-blue glaze was the most beloved color among scholar-officials and nobility," explained Zhang Zhinan, a Ru porcelain exhibitor from Pingdingshan city of Henan province. The jade-like texture and minimalist elegance of the sky-blue glaze calms the mind with its serene beauty. "Viewers find serenity when they see it, regardless of age or gender," he added.
“汝窑，是北宋五大名窑之首。汝瓷在宋朝的时候是皇家用瓷，天青色则是士绅贵族乃至皇室阶层最钟爱的颜色。”来自平顶山的汝瓷参展商张智南介绍说，汝瓷温润如玉的天青色调，带有一种宁静、简约的美感。“不管男女老少，看到这种颜色的瓷器，都会觉得特别舒服。”
To bring Ru porcelain into the lives of younger generations, Zhang Zhinan said he plans to launch practical items such as Ru porcelain office supplies and portable travel tea sets, so that more young people can engage with and fall in love with Ru porcelain in their daily lives. "Nowadays, young people love to travel. We hope to better promote tea culture and porcelain culture by combining the two," Zhang said.
为了让汝瓷走进年轻人的生活，张智南表示，下一步他将推出汝瓷办公用品、便携式旅行茶具等实用性强的产品，让更多年轻人在日常生活中接触并喜爱汝瓷。“现在年轻人喜欢旅行，我们希望通过茶、瓷结合的方式，把茶文化、瓷文化更好地推广出去。”张智南说。
In addition, exhibitor Wang Longhe said that he has made bold attempts in the design of Ru porcelain by incorporating popular cultural IPs such as Nezha and Sun Wukong. By blending tradition with modern trends, he hopes to tell the story of Ru porcelain in ways that resonate with the younger generation. "We hope that in this way, Ru porcelain can be revitalized in modern society, allowing more young people to appreciate it," he said.
此外，参展商王龙和告诉记者，他在汝瓷造型设计上大胆尝试，将哪吒、悟空等当下流行的文化IP融入汝瓷作品中，让传统与潮流相遇，用年轻人喜闻乐见的方式讲好汝瓷故事。“我们希望通过这种方式，让汝瓷在现代社会重新焕发活力，从而使更多年轻人了解并喜欢上汝瓷。”他说。
The exhibition drew dedicated crowds, with many Zhengzhou residents making special trips to attend. One visitor, Li Zhenyang, said: "As a cultural treasure of Henan, Ru porcelain deserves wider appreciation and preservation. So straight from work, I brought my friend here to see the exhibition." In her view, Henan's culture is vast and profound - it takes lifetimes to truly experience and understand it.
记者在现场了解到，此次“汝瓷集”吸引了不少郑州市民专程前来观展。市民李振阳在接受采访时表示：“汝瓷作为河南的文化瑰宝，值得更多人了解与传承，所以一下班我就带着朋友赶来看展。”在她看来，河南的文化非常博大精深，需要用一生的时间去慢慢体会。
From royal palaces to ordinary homes, Ru porcelain carries the elegance of Song Dynasty aesthetics. Through generations of artisans' dedication and innovation, it continues to thrive with renewed vitality. A single stroke of sky blue not only lit up the night of Zhengzhou, but also rekindled people's passion for traditional Chinese culture.
