On-site contract signing amounts to RMB 12 Billion at China (Zhengzhou)-Brazil Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference

On August 26 (Brazilian local time), the China (Zhengzhou)-Brazil Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference was held in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil. The cumulative on-site signing amount of cooperation projects reached 12 billion yuan (RMB).

In recent years, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province has focused on institutional opening-up, deeply integrated into the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, advanced the high-standard development of the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) 2.0 version, and synergized the "Four Silk Roads" (Air, Land, Online, and Maritime) to continuously expand high-level opening-up. In particular, the trade exchanges with Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) have been frequent. In 2024, Zhengzhou's total import and export volume with LAC reached 29.28 billion yuan (RMB), of which the import and export volume with Brazil amounted to 4.96 billion yuan (RMB). The hosting of this event will further deepen China-Brazil friendship, continuously expand bilateral economic and trade exchanges, and create a new chapter in communication and cooperation.
近年来，河南省郑州市以制度型开放为重点，深度融入共建“一带一路”，高标准建设自贸区2.0版，空中、陆上、网上、海上“四条丝路”协同发力，持续扩大高水平对外开放。特别是与拉美地区贸易往来频繁，2024年郑州市对拉美地区进出口总额292.8亿元，其中对巴西进出口额达到49.6亿元。此次活动的举行，将进一步深化中巴友谊，持续拓展双方经贸往来，开创交流合作新局面。
At the event site, Chinese and Brazilian enterprises signed a total of 4 cooperation projects with a signing amount of 12 billion yuan (RMB). Among them, China Oil & Foodstuffs Corporation (COFCO) International, Zhengzhou Agricultural Development Group CO., LTD, and Century Commodities Solution (CCS) Henan Grain and Oil CO., LTD signed a strategic cooperation agreement focusing on integrating agricultural industry chain resources. Henan Zhonghe International Trade Co., Ltd., Henan Dingshenghe International Trade Co., Ltd., Barra Mansa Comércio De Carnes E Derivados Ltda, and Naturafrig Alimentos Ltda signed beef procurement contracts. Henan Dingshenghe International Trade Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement for the "Brazil Beef Road" activity with Brazilian Beef Exporters Association. And Century Commodities Solution (CCS) Henan Grain and Oil CO., LTD and Hang Tung Resources Limited respectively signed soybean procurement contracts.
活动现场，中巴企业累计签约合作项目4项、签约金额120亿元。其中，中粮国际、郑州农发集团、瑞茂通集团围绕整合农业产业链资源签署战略合作协议书，河南众合国际贸易有限公司、河南鼎胜合国际贸易有限公司、Barra Mansa集团、巴西天然集团签约采购牛肉合同，河南鼎胜合国际贸易有限公司与巴西牛肉出口行业协会签约“巴西牛肉之路”活动合作协议书，瑞茂通集团、恒通资源有限公司签约大豆采购合同。
At the promotion conference, Zhengzhou also introduced the preparation status of the 18th China-LAC Business Summit to be held in Zhengzhou in November this year, and extended a sincere invitation to the attending guests and Brazilian entrepreneurs to discuss win-win cooperation and development strategies together.
