On August 28 (Chilean local time), the China (Zhengzhou)-Chile Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference was successfully held in Santiago, the capital of Chile. Representatives from various sectors in Chile and the delegation from Zhengzhou engaged in in-depth exchanges, achieving a series of cooperative results.

At the promotion conference, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province introduced the preparation status of the 18th China-LAC Business Summit to be held in Zhengzhou in November this year, and sincerely invited guests from all sectors and Chilean entrepreneurs to attend this summit in Zhengzhou, so as to jointly promote economic and trade exchanges between Zhengzhou and Chile, deepen cooperation and communication between Henan and Chile, and inject new momentum into the China-Chile cooperative planning under the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
推介会上，河南省郑州市介绍了将在今年11月份在郑举办的第十八届中国—拉美企业家高峰会筹备情况，诚挚邀请各界嘉宾和广大智利企业家赴郑参会，共同促进郑州与智利的经贸往来，深化河南与智利的合作交流，为中智共建“一带一路”合作规划注入新动能。
During this event, Zhengzhou Chen's Sun Co., Ltd. signed a contract with Chilean Importadora Company for the procurement of Chilean cherries worth approximately 400 million yuan (RMB) and a project for a cherry digital sorting and processing center. Zhengzhou Agricultural Development Group CO., LTD signed a cooperation memorandum with Chile's Grupo Ono.
其间，郑州陈氏阳光股份有限公司与智利IMPORTADORA公司签署了采购约4亿元人民币的智利车厘子及车厘子数字化分选加工中心项目，郑州农发集团与智利欧诺投资集团签署了合作备忘录。
This year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Chile. The friendship between the two countries has significantly contributed to building a China-LAC community with a shared future. As a national central city under accelerated development, Zhengzhou has seen the continuous deepening of cooperation with Chile in the fields of new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturing and semi-solid-state battery R&D since Zhengzhou Yutong Group entered the Chilean market in 2004. Notably, the successful establishment of the Arica State (Chile) Economic and Trade Liaison Office in Zhengzhou in 2024 has further expanded the mutually beneficial, win-win, and deeply trusting partnership between two countries.
今年是中智建交55周年，两国友谊为中拉命运共同体建设书写了浓墨重彩的一笔。郑州作为加快建设的国家中心城市，自2004年郑州宇通集团进入智利市场以来，双方在新能源汽车制造、半固态电池研发等领域的合作不断深化，特别是2024年智利阿里卡州驻郑州经贸联络处成功落地，进一步拓展了双方互利互惠、合作共赢、深度互信的伙伴关系。
The hosting of this promotion conference will further deepen in-depth cooperation between Zhengzhou and Chile in such fields as featured agriculture, port linkage, cross-border e-commerce, smart city planning and construction, digital economy, and artificial intelligence.
