On October 3, an exciting piece of news came from Zhengzhou Entry-Exit Immigration Inspection (referred to as ZII): the number of inbound and outbound cargo flights at Zhengzhou Airport Port (ZAP) has exceeded 10,000, a year-on-year increase of nearly 50%, surpassing the total number of flights in 2024. Thus, ZAP has become the first airport port in Central China to see international cargo flights "break 10,000".

10月3日，一条振奋人心的消息从郑州出入境边防检查站（简称“郑州边检站”）传来——郑州航空口岸出入境货运航班数量已突破10000架次，同比增长近50%，超2024年全年总量，成为2025年中部地区首个国际货运航班“破万”的航空口岸。

At 9:45 a.m. that day, Flight CV4484 from Luxembourg landed smoothly at the tarmac of Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport after a 10-hour flight. Police officer Wang Jing and auxiliary staff member Guo Yuhao from ZII's 6th Duty Team boarded the plane quickly as usual. In less than 10 minutes, they successfully completed the support task for ZAP's 10,000th inbound and outbound cargo flight this year.

当天9时45分，来自卢森堡的CV4484次航班经过10小时的飞行，平稳降落在郑州新郑国际机场停机坪。郑州边检站执勤六队民警王晶和协勤郭宇昊像往常一样快速登机，用时不到10分钟，他们顺利完成郑州航空口岸今年第10000架次出入境货运航班的保障任务。

"Data shows that the Zhengzhou-Luxembourg international cargo route remains stable and outstanding in performance," said Zhang Yi, ZII's Director. Since the beginning of this year, 1,352 flights have been operated on this route, a year-on-year increase of approximately 25%. Over the 11 years since its launch, Zhengzhou-Luxembourg "Air Silk Road" has become a landmark symbol for Henan Province to advance high-level opening-up."

通过数据可以看出，郑州-卢森堡国际货运航线表现依然稳定且抢眼。”郑州边检站站长张怡说，今年以来，该航线执飞航班1352架次，同比增长约25%。开通11年来，郑卢“空中丝路”已成为我省推进高水平对外开放的标志性名片。

In the first three quarters of this year, Henan Province continued to expand its global cargo network, launching and increasing the frequency of more than 10 all-cargo routes to destinations such as Abu Dhabi (UAE), Billund (Denmark), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Oslo (Norway), Madrid (Spain), and Nottingham (UK). These routes have become ZAP's new growth drivers. "These newly launched and frequency-increased routes account for over 10% of the 10,000 inbound and outbound cargo flights, showing a strong momentum of development," Zhang Yi stated.

今年前三季度，我省持续拓展全球货运网络，新开及加密至阿联酋阿布扎比、丹麦比隆、沙特利雅得、挪威奥斯陆、西班牙马德里、英国诺丁汉等十余条全货机航线，成为郑州航空口岸新的增长点。“这些新开及加密的航线，在10000架次出入境货运航班中占比超10%，显示出强劲的势头。”张怡说。

It took only 9 months and 3 days for ZAP to take the lead in Central China to achieve 10,000 international cargo flights. This means that the average weekly number of international cargo flights at ZAP exceeds 250. Its port functions continue to improve, building an international air cargo hub for Central China that radiates across the three major economic zones of Europe, America, and Asia.

用9个月又3天的时间，在中部地区率先达成10000架次国际货运航班，意味着郑州航空口岸平均每周国际货运航班量超250架次，口岸功能持续提升，为中部地区构建起辐射欧、美、亚三大经济区的国际航空货运枢纽。

"During peak hours, an international cargo flight takes off or lands every 20 minutes on average. From 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. every day, there even forms a 'night peak', with a single-hour peak of 29 flights," introduced Guo Lichao, Director of Port Administration of Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone (ZAEZ). Currently, 33 all-cargo airlines operate at Zhengzhou, with 45 international cargo routes opened, connecting 48 international (regional) cities. The cargo network covers more than 30 countries and regions globally.

“在高峰时段，平均每20分钟即有一架国际货运航班起降，每天2时至4时更形成单小时峰值29架次的‘夜间高峰'。”郑州航空港经济综合实验区口岸管理局局长郭利超介绍，目前，共有33家全货运航空公司在郑州运营，开通国际货运航线45条，通航国际（地区）城市48个，货运网络覆盖全球超30个国家和地区。

While the number of international cargo flights has reached a new high, ZAP's international passenger "flow" is also remarkable. Data from ZII shows that as of 12:00 on October 3rd, it had inspected over 4,500 international passenger flights this year, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%. It has cleared approximately 780,000 entry-exit passengers, a year-on-year increase of about 15%, with the number of foreign passenger entries and exits increasing by 77% year-on-year. In August, the number of entry-exit passengers at ZAP reached nearly 100,000, setting a new monthly record for clearance since 2023.
