On December 19, the 2025 Forum on International Communication of Chinese Culture was held in Beijing. Under the theme "Confidence, Inclusiveness and Innovation: Advancing the Global Reachof Chinese Civilization," the forum brought together institutions and cultural professionals from across the country, representing fields such as ideological studies, cultural and artistic creation, and international communication. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on a defining question: in a rapidly changing world, how can Chinese civilization be better understood, more widely seen, and more broadly recognized by the international community?
The forum also released the 2025 Report on the International Communication of Chinese Culture. Jointly produced by the Cultural Communication Center of China International Communications Group and the Institute of Cultural Innovation and Communication at Beijing Normal University, the report adopts a multidimensional and dynamic analytical framework to provide a comprehensive overview of the global communication of Chinese culture in 2025, covering its broader context, on-the-ground practices, key trends and future prospects.
