Staff from State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company recently visited the Xuyuan Eco-Pasture Co in Nansu village, Lushi county, to review production schedules and electricity demand and to help eliminate hidden hazards in on-site electrical installations. This will ensure reliable power for the winter vermicelli-processing season.
Lushi vermicelli, a time-honored local specialty, is made from sweet potatoes grown in the county. Traditional production relied on small, manual workshops that struggled with cost control, product consistency, efficiency, hygiene, and market responsiveness. In recent years, Lushi county has been targeting this hallmark agro-industry, increasing policy support while introducing new technologies and processes to foster high-quality growth and rural vitalization.
"We have built standardized workshops and an automated production line," said the manager of Xuyuan Eco-Pasture. "The power supplier learned our load profile in advance, accepted and resolved every service request promptly, and during peak season assigned dedicated staff to track our needs, inspect plant electrical facilities, offer professional guidance, and brief us on safety precautions — all of which underpins our scaled-up production."
Moving forward, State Grid Sanmenxia will continue focusing on local specialty agro-industries, strengthening grid planning, rural-network upgrades, equipment O&M, customer service, and emergency response to provide robust electrical support for economic and social development across the Sanmenxia region.
