A news briefing was held by the Information Office of the People's Government of Henan Province on January 21 to introduce the economic performance of Henan in 2025 and take questions from reporters.

1月21日，河南省政府新闻办举行新闻发布会，介绍河南省2025年经济运行情况，并回答记者提问。

According to Wang Xu, head of the Bureau of Statistics of Henan, in 2025, Henan's economy demonstrated a strong growth momentum featuring steady progress, enhanced resilience, and a continuously improving structure.

发布会上，河南省统计局党组书记、局长王旭介绍，2025年河南经济运行呈现稳中向好、趋新向优、韧性增强的良好态势。

In 2025, Henan's provincial GDP hit 6.66 trillion yuan, with year-on-year growth of 5.6 percent calculated at constant prices. The province's economic output by sector was as follows: the primary industry increased by 3.6 percent to 553.8 billion yuan; the secondary industry grew 5.5 percent to 2.49 trillion yuan; and the tertiary industry expanded 6.0 percent to 3.62 trillion yuan.
