AU Ambassador to China praises ZAEZ's vibrancy

Mr. Bah has served as African Union Ambassador to China since November 2025. What impressed him most during his visit was the extraordinary vibrancy of the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone (ZAEZ). Outside the factory of a world-renowned electronics manufacturer, logistics vehicles shuttled back and forth in a constant, bustling flow. According to staff, the facility produced around 88 million iPhones last year — nearly one-third of Africa's annual mobile phone sales. "It's amazing that a province once reliant on agriculture has made significant strides in industrialization, offering valuable lessons for Africa," Bah remarked.
