AU Ambassador to China Bah lauds the vibrancy of ZAEZ
非盟驻华代表巴赫感叹郑州航空港发展活力
Since assuming his post as African Union Ambassador to China in November 2025, Mr. Bah has been in China for four months. What struck him most was the extraordinary vitality of the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone (ZAEZ). Outside the factory of a world-renowned electronics manufacturer, logistics vehicles shuttled back and forth in a constant, bustling flow. According to staff, some 88 million iPhones were produced at the facility last year. "That amounts to nearly one-third of Africa's annual mobile phone sales," Bah remarked. "For a province traditionally reliant on agriculture to achieve such industrial transformation is truly remarkable, and offers valuable lessons for Africa."
