A China Railway Express train loaded with 55 TEUs departed Zhengzhou in Central China's Henan province for Duisburg of Germany on July 8. Of the 55 containers, 17 carried 4,000 air conditioners, accounting for over 30 percent of the total volume.

大河网讯  7月8日，一列满载55个集装箱的中欧班列从郑州国际陆港经开片区驶向德国杜伊斯堡。本趟班列搭载的货物中有17柜成套空调，总量超4000台，占整列货柜比重超过三成。

Zhengzhou CR Express dispatched negligible air conditioners to Europe over the same period last year. This summer, however, major European nations including Germany, France, Italy and Spain face relentless record heatwaves, with regional temperatures repeatedly topping 45℃. Costly installation, tight historic building facade regulations have kept Europe's household air conditioning penetration at a low level, compounded by massive supply shortfall in local finished cooling units. The soaring volumes carried by Zhengzhou CR Express mirror this sudden shift in European market.

去年同期，经由中欧班列（郑州）发往欧洲的空调货源近乎空白。今夏，德国、法国、意大利、西班牙等欧洲多国遭遇罕见极端高温，多地气温连破历史纪录，局部地区最高气温突破45℃。受老城建筑风貌管控、安装成本高企等因素制约，欧洲家庭空调普及率整体偏低，本土整机产能供给又存在巨大缺口。一趟趟班列的货物品类变化，直观折射出欧洲市场的供需波动。
