Zhengzhou airport makes three consecutive jumps in global rankings, aiming to stay firmly among the world's top 30 during the 15th Five-Year Plan period

全球排名“三连跳”！“十五五”郑州机场力争稳居全球30强

Zhengzhou airport's global cargo ranking continued to rise, climbing from 44th in 2023 to 36th in 2024 and into the global top 30 in 2025, marking three consecutive jumps.

“郑州机场货运全球排名持续攀升，2023年居全球第44位，2024年跃升至第36位，2025年跻身全球30强，实现全球排名‘三连跳’”。

On September 14, a special press conference on the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone (ZAEZ) was hosted by the Information Office of the Henan Provincial People's Government as part of its series themed "15th Five-Year Plan: A New Chapter". Xiao Guosheng, director of the zone's Development, Reform and Statistics Bureau, noted that Zhengzhou airport handled 1.033 million metric tons of cargo and mail in 2025, joining the global "million-ton cargo club". Its international cargo and mail throughput has ranked fifth nationwide for nine consecutive years.

9月14日，在省政府新闻办举行的河南省“开局起步‘十五五’奋力谱写新篇章”系列郑州航空港区专场新闻发布会上，郑州航空港区发展改革和统计局局长肖国胜透露，2025年，郑州机场完成货邮吞吐量103.3万吨，已迈入全球航空货运“百万吨级俱乐部”，其中国际货邮吞吐量连续9年稳居全国第5位。

The press conference also unveiled ZAEZ's hub development goals during the 15th Five-Year Plan period: Zhengzhou airport aims to maintain its position among the world's top 30 airports in cargo and mail throughput. To that end, ZAEZ will pursue a development philosophy featuring parallel development of passenger and cargo transport, prioritizing cargo. It will foster hub and transit-oriented thinking to elevate the development of international air logistics center to new heights.
