For Central China's Henan province, how to build itself into a strong province in modern agriculture? Expanding and strengthening the efficient planting and breeding industry is one of the effective ways to achieve this goal.
河南将如何加快建设现代农业强省？做大做强高效种养业是实现路径之一。
According to The Outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) for National Economic and Social Development and Vision 2035 of Henan Province, during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Henan will promote the regionalization of planting and breeding industry, standardization of production, large-scale operation, industrialization of development, green mode and product branding, accelerate the building of ten advanced production bases of special agricultural products such as high-quality special wheat, peanuts, grass and livestock, woods and fruits, vegetables, flowers and trees, tea, edible fungi, traditional Chinese medicine and aquatic products, and promote the building of high-quality grassland belt in the Yellow River bottomland area, and strive to establish advantageous areas of special agricultural products. Besides, Henan will fully develop the pig industry, expand the cattle and sheep industry, and improve the poultry industry. The output value of animal husbandry will account for more than 35% of the total agricultural output value. It is worth noting that Henan will also accelerate the development of circular agriculture with an organic combination of planting and breeding, and promote the building of green pilot areas for agricultural development.
根据《河南省“十四五”规划和2035年远景目标纲要》，“十四五”期间，河南将推动种养业布局区域化、生产标准化、经营规模化、发展产业化、方式绿色化、产品品牌化，加快优质专用小麦、花生、草畜、林果、蔬菜、花木、茶叶、食用菌、中药材、水产品等十大优势特色农产品生产基地建设，推进黄河滩区优质草业带建设，开展特色农产品优势区创建。同时，做强生猪产业，做大牛羊产业，做优家禽产业，畜牧业产值占农业总产值比重达到35%以上。此外，河南还将加快发展种养有机结合的循环农业，推进农业绿色发展先行区建设。（杨佳欣 何蒙贺）
