近日，河南14项考古遗址入选全国“百年百大考古发现”，数量居全国第一。
As the 11th Party Congress of Henan Province approaches, we are launching the Archaeological Discovery in Henan: A Marvel in the World series featuring 7 bilingual stories about Henan's 14 items in "China's 100 Major Archaeological Discoveries in Last 100 Years" to demonstrate Henan's long history and rich culture.

Located in Yangshao village of Mianchi county, Sanmenxia city, Henan province, the Yangshao Site is 10 kilometers away from the county. With Shaoshan Mountain to its north and rivers to its east, west and south, it is a site of the Yangshao Culture period dating back to some 5,000 to 7,000 years ago in China's Neolithic Age.
仰韶村遗址，位于河南省三门峡市渑池县仰韶镇仰韶村南部的缓坡台地上，北依韶山，东、西、南三面环水，距渑池县城10公里，为5000至7000年前中国新石器时代的仰韶文化遗址。

The Yangshao Culture was named after the Yangshao Site after its first discovery by Johan Gunnar Andersson, a Swedish geologist, in 1921. A large number of stone tools, bone implements, pottery wares and clam artifacts were discovered during the 3 rounds of excavations, providing abundant physical evidence for the study of China's social development and the world's archaeology history.
民国十年（1921年），仰韶村遗址被瑞典地质学家安特生发现，其文化被命名为仰韶文化。仰韶村遗址先后进行了3次发掘，出土了大量的石器、骨器、陶器、蚌器，为中国社会发展史、世界考古史的研究，提供了丰富的实物资料。
On March 4, 1961, the Yangshao Site was listed among the first batch of major historical and cultural sites protected at the national level in China.
1961年3月4日，仰韶村遗址被中华人民共和国国务院公布为第一批全国重点文物保护单位。
On September 29, the major findings during the 4th round of excavation at the Yangshao Site were released, including an exquisite ivory bracelet-shaped item, which was discovered for the first time.
2021年9月29日，河南仰韶村遗址发布第4次考古发掘重要成果，其中，首次发现了一件精美的象牙镯形器。
Located in the south of Shanzhou, Sanmenxia city, Henan province, the Miaodigou Site, a major historical and cultural site protected at the national level in China, covers an area of 240 thousand square meters and is a site of the Yangshao Culture period and the early Longshan Culture period.
庙底沟遗址，全国重点文物保护单位，位于河南三门峡陕州古城南，总面积24万平方米，是一处仰韶文化和早期龙山文化遗址。

The cultural remains can be divided into 2 stages. The first-stage remains (lower layer), known as the Miaodigou Type, belong to the Yangshao Culture period, while those of the 2nd stage (upper layer), known as the Miaodigou Culture Stage II, are a transition from the Yangshao Culture period to the Longshan Culture period, which is a continuation of the Yangshao Culture and later developed to the Longshan Culture in Henan.
遗址内涵分为二期。一期（下层）为仰韶文化遗存，命名为仰韶庙底沟类型。二期（上层）遗存属仰韶文化向龙山文化过渡性质的遗存，命名为庙底沟二期文化，它是承袭仰韶文化发展而来，又发展为河南龙山文化。
Thousands of pieces of pottery wares of the Yangshao Culture and the Longshan Culture unearthed at the Miaodigou Site have become a hit in China's archaeological circle. The discovery of the Miaodigou Site has clarified the relations between the Yangshao Culture and the Longshan Culture, which is of a great value.
