Over 60 Chinese and international journalists and online celebrities participating in the nearly week-long tour of Hainan for representatives of international media organizations and social media personalities visited Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City in Sanya city of Southeast China's Hainan province on November 29 to learn the development of the province's high-tech industry park.
11月28日，参加“‘开放·向未来’——全国外宣媒体记者、海外传播官、外籍网络大V看海南”活动的60多位中外媒体嘉宾走进三亚崖州湾科技城，了解海南自贸港重点园区及高新技术产业发展情况。
Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City
Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City is located in the west of Sanya City, adjacent to Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone and Daxiao Dongtian Scenic Zone, with a planning area of 26.1 square kilometers. It is mainly composed of five parts, namely, the Nanfan Seed Breeding City, the Deep Sea Science and Technology City, the University City, the Nanshan Port and the Global Animal and Plant Germplasm Resources Transfer Base (in short, "one port, three citiesand one base").
三亚崖州湾科技城位于三亚市西部，毗邻南山文化旅游区和大小洞天风景区，规划面积为26.1平方公里。主要由南繁科技城、深海科技城、大学城、南山港和全球动植物种质资源中转基地（即：“一港、三城、一基地”）五部分共同构成。
Visit Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City
The planning area of the Nanfan Seed Breeding City is 4.02 square kilometers. It centers around the technology industry of Nanfan seed breeding and mainly involves six aspects, namely, animal and plant breeding technology, international seed trade germplasm resource property right transaction, ecological soil fertilizer, seed industry intellectual property right transaction and tropical agricultural science. It is committed to building an industrialized, market-oriented, specialized and intensive National Nanfan Seed Breeding Scientific Research Base and National Tropical Agricultural Science Center with a nation-wide reach.
南繁科技城规划面积约4.02平方公里，是以南繁科技产业为核心，围绕动植物育种科技、国际种业交易、种质资源产权交易、生态土壤肥料、种业知识产权交易、热带特色农科六大方面，致力于打造产业化、市场化、专业化、集约化、国家化的国家南繁科研基地与国家热带农业科学中心。
Visit Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City
The planning area of the Deep Sea Science and Technology City is about 5.39 square kilometers. It centers around the marine science and technology industry and mainly involves three areas, namely deep sea technology, marine industry and modern service. Regarding deep-sea science and technology, the city's focus is deep sea equipment, materials and communications; regarding the marine industry, the focus is marine vessels, engineering equipment and public services; regarding modern services, the focus is on exhibition, financial and commerce services. The city will vigorously explore such fields as deep sea farming, artificial reefs and marine ecological protection.
深海科技城规划面积约5.39平方公里，是以海洋科技产业为核心，重点集聚深海科技、海洋产业和现代服务三大领域。在深海科技方面，主要发展深海装备、深海材料和深海通讯等；在海洋产业方面，主要发展海洋船舶、海工装备和海洋公共服务等；在现代服务方面，主要发展会展服务、金融服务和商务服务等，未来还将在深海养殖、人工鱼礁和海洋生态保护等领域进行积极探索。
Visit Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City
The planning area of Nanshan Port is about 2.76 square kilometers. It is one of the basic projects that Sanya launches to optimize urban layout and improve the urban environment. It is also an indispensable part of Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City and an important precondition for the Deep Sea Science and Technology Town. In light of the demand proposed by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited and the Institute of Deep-Sea Science and Engineering, the Chinese Academy of Sciences for Portcoastline and Land, the planning coastline (including the existing coastline) runs in total 7.165 linear metres, forming a land area (including existing land area) of 2.76 square kilometers. Further planning will be carried out to adapt to the new developments ahead and promote the coordination of the port and Sanya city.
南山港规划面积约2.76平方公里，是三亚市优化城市布局，改善城市环境的基础工程之一，也是三亚崖州湾科技城不可或缺的组成部分及深海科技城建设的重要前置条件。目前围绕中船重工、中船工业和中科院深海研究所等入驻单位提出的码头岸线及用地需求，规划形成岸线总长（含现有岸线）7165延米，形成陆域面积（含现有陆域）2.76平方公里。未来将进一步统筹规划，适应新的发展形势，推动港城协调发展。
Visit Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City
The planning area of the University City is about 4.54 square kilometers. It is centered on the marine and agricultural scientific research industry and is supported by high-level scientific research institutes and institutions of higher education. It focuses on combining the academic, industrial, and research efforts concerning deep sea and Nanfan seed breeding science and technology, specifically, education and scientific research, public services for R&D, and platforms for incubation and commercialization of innovative enterprise.
大学城规划面积约4.54平方公里，是以海洋、农业科研产业为核心，以高水平科研机构和高等院校为载体，重点发展内容包括与深海科技和南繁科技形成产学研一体化相关的教育科研、公共科技研发服务和创新创业孵化与转化平台等三个方面。
Visit Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City
The planning area for the introduction and transfer base of global animal and plant germplasm resources is about 0.5 square kilometers. The base will introduce animal, plant and microbial germplasm resources from all over the world and is capable of such functions as inspection and quarantine, strategic reserve, industrial application and international trade transactions. It will become part of the framework for enhancing Hainan's free trade innovation, shoring up the core competitiveness of the industry and making China's germplasm resources more competitive internationally.
全球动植物种质资源引进中转基地规划面积约0.5平方公里。该基地将引入全球动物、植物、微生物种质资源，具备检验隔离、战略储备、产业应用、国际贸易交易等功能，成为海南自贸创新、产业核心竞争力塑造以及国家种质资源全球竞争力升级的“四梁八柱”项目。（杨佳欣）
