Maona Village is a typical Li ethnic village located in the southwest of Shuiman Township, Wuzhishan City, about 30 kilometers from the urban area. The village has 33 households with a total of 128 residents, and covers a forest area of 2,500 mu, acultivated land of 180.34 mu, and a teaplanting area of 572 mu. Tea cultivation is the main source of income for the village, with an average tea planting area of 17.3 mu per household.
毛纳村位于五指山市水满乡西南部，距离市区约30公里，是一个典型的黎族村落。全村共33户128人，林地面积2500亩，耕地面积180.34亩，茶叶种植面积572亩。全村主要收入来源是种植茶叶，户均茶叶种植面积达17.3亩。
Experience nose flute
In recent years, Maona Village has focused on the goal of becoming an integrated tourism demonstration village, taking the construction of beautiful countryside as a starting point and highlighting Li culture and tropical characteristics. While maintaining the existing buildings, preserving the trees, and not occupying farmland, Maona Village has vigorously developed rural tourism, gradually exploring the road of integrated development of tea planting and tourism. Thanks to these efforts, Maona Village has been awarded honorary titles such as National Key Village of Rural Tourism, China Beautiful Leisure Village, and Hainan Ethnic Minority Cultural Village.
近年来，毛纳村围绕“全域旅游示范村”建设目标，以美丽乡村建设为抓手，以黎族文化和热带风情为主题，在不拆房、不砍树、不占田前提下，大力发展乡村旅游业，逐步探索出了一条茶旅融合发展之路。毛纳村荣获了全国乡村旅游重点村、中国美丽休闲乡村、海南省少数民族特色村寨等荣誉称号。
Visit Maona Village
On April 11, 2022, General Secretary Xi Jinping visited Maona Village and gave a series of significant instructions, including "efforts should be made to promote industry ecology and ecological industrialization inrural revitalization". Maona Village has launched a number of high-quality tourism packages, including exhibitions of Li and Miao characteristic cultural and creative products, tea art brewing demonstrations, Li and Miao cultural performances, Li ethnic group long table banquets, and bonfire parties. There have also been various cultural and tourism activities held here, such as the Rainforest with You live performance, the Rainforest Fashion Show, and the Rainforest Red Leaf Festival, making "no trip to Hainan is complete without a visit to Wuzhishan" an established phrase.
2022年4月11日，习近平总书记亲临毛纳村考察，并作出“乡村振兴要在产业生态化、生态产业化上下功夫”等系列重要嘱托。毛纳村推出黎苗特色文创产品展示、茶艺冲泡展演、黎苗本土文化表演、黎族长桌宴和篝火晚会等旅游精品套餐，举办“雨林与您”实景演出、雨林时装秀、雨林红叶节、星空露营节等文旅活动，让“不到五指山，不算到海南”成为家喻户晓的新民谚。（杨佳欣）
